The shoes that line D.J. Annicchiarico’s shop on South Main Street are often well-worn and a testament to things built right the first time. But they’re relative newcomers compared to the shop itself, which is lined with old machinery, seemingly ancient tools and the comfort of another era. United Shoe Repair is a fourth-generation cobbler and has served residents of the region for well over 100 years. Annicchiarico gave us a tour of his vintage operation.
