Tales of New Hampshire Family Storytime

Join us at the New Hampshire Historical Society for a free weekly story hour including a visit to the museum, arts and crafts, and games! Sponsored by Concord Pediatric Dentistry.

Sharing stories about the Granite State is a great way to bring families together in a free weekly story hour highlighting New Hampshire children’s book authors. This fun program is sure to bring a smile to kids and adults alike, as storytellers read classic tales of life in the Granite State, whether on a farm, in the icy mountains, or on the Isles of Shoals. Each week features a story written or illustrated by a New Hampshire author, with a visit to the exhibition Discovering New Hampshire to see related museum objects from the Society’s collections of over 33,000 artifacts preserving New Hampshire history, and time for games or arts and crafts. This free program, due to the generosity of Concord Pediatric Dentistry, is a perfect introduction for young children to all the things that make the Granite State a great place to live. The Tales of New Hampshire Family Storytime will run on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. for seven weeks (July 10–August 21).
