FROM WHERE I WRITE: LETTERS FROM WORLD WAR I
Friday, August 25, 2017 Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program begins at 7:00 p.m. Warner Town Hall 5 East Main Street, Warner NH During war-time, letter writing has been one of the main forms of communication between those serving abroad and those left behind. Helping to ease the pain of separation, letters were written to express both the soldier's affections for their sweethearts and their yearning for home. Personal stories and war-time experiences are vividly brought to life during this poignant presentation. Letters will be shared so that we, too, may better understand what war looks like, feels like and smells like to those that lived it.
