Fish and Game Department to Receive $28,000 From Recent Concord Auction

Aug 25, 2015 05:55PM ● Published by Kevin

A recent auction held in Concord raised $28,002, with all money going to grants supporting programs of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. The auction, presented by the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire awarded just two chances to hunt for moose this fall.

Only two permits were available to auction this year due to the impact of ticks on the moose population, according to a story about the auction by Paula Tracy on WMUR9. The ticks have reduced the numbers of moose in the state.
